  Verdict:  The place to go "where nobody knows your name".
  
  Although this place does not seem like the place that a frequent Yelper would go, I like to venture out, and found this nugget of gold.  I must admit, it was a semi-pleasant surprise.  The diner is very simple, and the staff was pleasant, and seem to double as bouncers, as they all look the same.  Makes one wonder what takes place here after dark.  Anyway, onwards....
  
  The food was, well, edible.  I can't say I was overly impressed, however having previously experienced Piper's Diner, I can say that it is a HUGE step up from there.
  
  Overall, I can't really recommend going here, but I can't recommend staying away either.  If you happen to be in the area, and for some reason the McDonald's (in the same parking lot) happens to be freakishly closed, it might do to hold you over until you find another place.
  
  Also, make sure that you get a table close to the window, so you can yell at the people trying to steal the wheels off your car while you dine.  (Not kidding)

  I'd heard for years that this was supposed to be a decent diner. It's a local small business, so I want to be supportive and finally gave it a try.
  
  Menu pricing is high for diner fare. The fish and chips were mildly offensive, actually: $10 for frozen fish sticks? Food preparation was unimpressive: use a lighter oil for frying and change to oil more often. I had a terrible taste in my mouth I couldn't get rid of for hours after eating there. The place was dusty and just felt slimy. The only good thing I can say is that the servers were personable. They weren't great at serving but they were trying.
  
  The crowd didn't look like a Yelp-ing kind of crowd so if they can keep their regulars, that's great but I'm not sure this place is supposed to be such a dive (the bad kind). Whether a restaurant's market is foodies or non-foodies looking for a meal, everyone parting with hard-earned money for food (whether $5 or $150) should get good food at great value. I hope that the owners think about improving their quality standards.

  My boyfriend and I went to Ottawa for a weekend to help my friend move. On the Saturday morning, my boyfriend and I decided to go out for breakfast. The closest diner happened to be the Dynasty Cafe.
  
  Upon arrival, service was fine. The food we ordered came very quickly, and that became evident quickly as well. The home fries were white, and barely cooked at all. My boyfriends eggs were slimy in the middle, and to top it off, his ham was black on one side, and completely uncooked and slimy on the other.
  
  My boyfriend is a cook and doesn't like to complain but he knew he had to say something. We called the server back to tell him that our food wasn't very good and he said, and I quote, "no, there is nothing wrong with your food"
  
  Obviously an argument ensued after, and the server refused to accept that there was anything wrong with our food. The server started swearing at us and calling us names (f*cking goof was used numerous times) and he said we were scam artists who do this all the time. My boyfriend and I were so appalled at that, we went up to the counter to pay for the gross food, just to make a point.
  
  Even while we are paying, the server is calling us names and swearing. The lady at the counter asked what was wrong, I tried to explain to her but she went on to tell me her cook doesn't make mistakes, and that they get the freshest food in town.
  
  So, in conclusion, if you like paying for gross food and horrible service, the Dynasty a Cafe is for you
